Researchers of Urban and Equity Mathematics Education Issues!

We invite you to participate in a study that will examine what
researchers, who focus on urban and equity issues in mathematics
education, perceive about the opportunities available for publishing
research in mainstream mathematics education journals. The purpose of
this investigation is to explore the experiences and perspectives of
mathematics education researchers concerning the opportunites (and/or
challenges) in publishing research on urban and equity issues in
mathematics education journals.
The research undertaken will assist in expanding the conversation
regarding the opportunities (and/or challenges) that are present for
scholars who examine urban and equity issues in mathematics education.

If you participate in this study, you will be asked to complete a
survey to assess researchers’ perspectives on publishing research that
is focused on urban and equity issues in mathematics education. The
survey will be completed online. You can complete the survey using any
computer that has access to the Internet; it should take no more that
30–45 minutes to complete the survey. If you are interested in
